Owner/Managing Director
Martin started Alf & Sons Brokers in 1995 and has been dedicated to its success ever since. He believes that the strength of Alf & Sons Brokers is rooted in its commitment to excellence, both in its product offering and its high standard of personalised service. With 32 years of experience in the insurance industry, Martin’s expertise lies in providing the correct cover advice, choosing the most secure insurance product that fits each client individually and, possibly the most important skill of all, getting claims paid. It’s this experience, combined with forward thinking, that has made Alf & Sons Brokers what it is today.
Elaine Middleton
Co-owner/Administration and Claims Manager
Elaine has been in the insurance industry since 1995 and prides herself on giving personal service to each client. Managing client portfolios, underwriting and amendments to our clients’ policies is just the tip of the iceberg when it comes to Elaine’s job description. The peace of mind of our clients is her top priority, which she sets out to achieve by delivering fast, efficient service underpinned by accuracy and a sense of urgency. Elaine ensures that our clients experience the highest level of quality service.

Elaine has been in the insurance industry for 22 years. Her strong administrative ability equips her to build relationships with clients while focusing on attention to detail. Every day, she strives to reach the goals she has set for herself. She believes in doing things right the first time.
Madelein Middleton
Insurance Consultant
The insurance industry chose Madelein directly after finishing matric in 2019. She is the youngblood in our brokerage with her vibrant personality and hunger for growth. Since starting her insurance journey, she has equipped herself to become a qualified short-term insurance broker. Currently, Madelein is working closely with a motor dealership by assisting with vehicle insurance on the spot, but she also specialises in combined personal insurance packages.
Duncan Middleton
Insurance Consultant
We are excited in welcoming Duncan to the family business. Duncan will be recruiting new business for Alf & Sons Brokers, both personal lines and commercial lines. He has strong leadership skills, loves working with people and gets straight to the point. Until completion of his studies, he will be working under supervision. We are excited about the new journey and can’t wait to see what the future holds for him!
Luca Van Vuuren
Insurance Consultant
We welcome Luca to our family. Welcoming youngblood to our brokerage, her vibrant personality makes it easy to deal with her. Luca is working closely with a motor dealership by assisting with vehicle insurance on the spot. Until the completion of her studies, she will be working under supervision. Anna has been with Alf & Sons Brokers since 2000. She has a passion for her job, she is friendly, reliable, hardworking and has a passion for people. No matter what the request, Anna will always seek a way to accomplish and finalise the task.
